Biography

“Hi, I’m Morgan! After graduating from Bassett High School in 2011 I pursued my softball career at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. It was there that I incidentally fell in love with nursing. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2015 and began working as a registered nurse in the operating room at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. I enjoyed my time there but decided to further my nursing practice by taking on a position as a registered nurse inside of the emergency department at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a level-one trauma center. While working as a registered nurse I continued my education at Chamberlain College of Nursing, receiving my Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner. I want to use my education and experience to help the community around me.”
